Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our applications and data.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance on enterprise level applications, including Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Testing. They will also have thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution is essential.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of different Testing framework, tool, methodologies and be proficient in Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory. Experience testing in medium to large projects is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of applications and data to identify defects and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate application functionality and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Provide defect tracking and reporting to facilitate timely resolution and improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years of Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Testing.
  • Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc.
  • Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.
  • Knowledge of different Testing framework, tool, methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
