Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Experience: 5+ years

Job Type: Contract to hire

Notice Period: Immediate

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
  2. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  3. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
  4. Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
  5. Use AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance.
  7. Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.
  8. Monitor, log, and improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills:

  • DevOps practices and cloud engineering expertise.
  • AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
  • AWS-native application deployment and support.
  • AWS CDK for provisioning infrastructure as code (IaC).
