Category Head: Education Sector

As a seasoned leader, you will spearhead the education category and drive business expansion through strategic space sales, client acquisition, and innovative advertising solutions.

This role demands a proven leader with strong market insight, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and mentor a sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies for strategic space selling within the education category, ensuring revenue maximization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and unexplored market segments in the education sector.
  • Design and implement innovative advertising solutions tailored for major accounts.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure consistent growth and loyalty.
  • Expand market share by acquiring new clients and unlocking fresh revenue streams.
  • Ensure effective on-ground engagement, as this is a field-intensive role.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in print media, advertising, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Candidates from print media industry will be preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in the education/academic sales segment may also be considered.
