Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to play a key role in maintaining the financial accuracy of our operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to customers, meeting invoice delivery timelines, and understanding customer-specific requirements.

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers
  • Meet invoice delivery timelines
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites
  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
  • Understand key areas in invoicing specific to customer
  • Check each field on the invoices before submission
  • Ensure all support and backups are in place and attached to invoices
  • Update the invoice submission status
  • Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference
  • Work closely with payroll & invoicing team and accelerate the invoice submission process
  • Send out statements of accounts to customers
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, any mismatch in billing/payment to be sorted and ensure AR hygiene
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit and rebills
  • Maintain SOP/standard guide for complete invoicing process account-wise and update it timely
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Fresh graduates to a maximum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing
  • Qualification: Commerce or finance background (B.Com/M.Com/BBA/MBA)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table)
  • Good analytical & logical skill
  • Good accounting knowledge
