We are seeking a skilled professional to support and manage our Cisco Tetration platform deployed in a remote data center environment. This is a contract position that requires expertise in network engineering and strong hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of overall experience in networking and possess a strong knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.

Key responsibilities include providing level 2 operational support for Cisco Tetration, configuring and deploying components and sensors, implementing application segmentation and micro-segmentation policies, analyzing telemetry data, and collaborating with internal teams to troubleshoot policy conflicts and application visibility issues.

The successful candidate will maintain technical documentation and support logs related to Cisco Tetration operations and escalate issues to L3/engineering teams as necessary.

Required Skills
  • 7-8 years of total experience in Network Engineering or IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration platform in operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with application traffic mapping, segmentation, and policy enforcement using Cisco Tetration.
  • Familiarity with network and security best practices, compliance, and audit reporting.
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to automation tools like Python or Ansible for Tetration integration.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, telemetry data, and policy modeling in Tetration.
