Lead Research Projects

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead research projects in Chemicals and Materials Practice. This role will involve overseeing research, deliverables, and client relationships across the chemicals and related process industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guide research process and deliverables of proprietary projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Oversee efforts of research team members, write reports, and develop client deliverables that meet or exceed expectations
  • Drive staff performance to successful completion of studies, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Assure content and quality of studies, ensuring accuracy and reliability of findings
  • Present findings to clients, effectively communicating complex data and recommendations
  • Develop junior staff, assist with business development, and identify enhancements to project deliverables and work processes, driving continuous improvement
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve results that meet or exceed client expectations, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting in the chemical industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
  • Experience developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management, showcasing strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a multinational team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (preferably Chemical), or a related field; MBA is a plus, indicating advanced knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with expertise in data analysis and visualization tools
