Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our cloud services, including Azure management, Office 365 administration, security, compliance, automation, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Azure Expertise:
    • Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services.
    • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity management solutions.
    • Ability to monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.
  • Office 365 Administration:
    • Knowledge of Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
    • Experience administering user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365, ensuring compliance and security.
    • Troubleshooting skills for Office 365 services across the organization.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Familiarity with security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
    • Ability to monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve vulnerabilities.
    • Compliance with regulatory and company security policies.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Experience developing and maintaining scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for automated cloud and Office 365 administration tasks.
    • Identification of opportunities for process improvements and implementation of automation to increase efficiency.
  • Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
    • Implementation and maintenance of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services.
