Job Title: Associate Director Global Procurement

The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of a strategic data and analytics roadmap for the procurement function, driving business value through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with business objectives, incorporating analytics strategy, data management, and process improvement.\
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success, establishing a monitoring and reporting framework to track progress.\
• Lead the data & analytics governance committee, ensuring full alignment to strategic roadmap and priorities, and establishing robust governance mechanisms to escalate findings.\
• Oversight of portfolio of prioritized analytics use cases, including build and implementation, in partnership with relevant stakeholders.\
• Manage procurement-specific content across multiple platforms, overseeing process and governance for spend taxonomy refresh.\
• Support preparation of high-level reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key procurement metrics, trends, and strategic insights.\
• Coordinate across procurement and the business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are gathered and well understood.\
• Regularly engage with technology and third-party stakeholders to drive execution activities of analytic use cases.\
• Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team.\
• Advanced knowledge of procurement technologies and systems, proven expertise in systems integration, implementation, and project management, strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.\
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams, navigate ambiguity, expert communication, organizational, and presentation skills, high degree of initiative and self-motivation, ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.\
• Bachelor's degree, minimum 8-10 years of relevant business experience, minimum 6-8 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience, minimum 3 years Pharmaceutical Procurement experience, advanced knowledge of procurement technologies and systems.\
• Foster a collaborative environment, promoting cross-functional teamwork and open communication among stakeholders.\
• Strengthen relationships with internal and external partners, driving results-oriented partnerships and collaborations.\
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development, staying current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.\
• Utilize data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, to present insights and findings to stakeholders, driving informed decision-making.\
• Design and implement effective training programs, equipping team members with necessary skills and competencies to succeed in their roles.\
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of analytics use cases, procurement metrics, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the organization.\
• Participate in regular progress updates, showcasing achievements and areas for improvement, and facilitating continuous learning and growth.\
• Leverage automation and workflow optimization techniques to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.\
• Establish clear expectations and goals, setting high standards for performance and quality, and maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\
