About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to oversee the allocation and scheduling of resources, including dry dock, fit-out berth, fabrication bays, blasting & painting cells, manpower, materials, and equipment.

  • Utilize strong project management skills to coordinate with various departments and teams to align resources with multiple projects' requirements and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of resource allocation and utilization, documenting asset schedules, shifts in allocation, and reasons for reassignments.
  • Analyze resource usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency or reassign resources as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and department heads to ensure effective resource planning and allocation.
  • Communicate resource availability and constraints to stakeholders, facilitating adjustments to schedules and plans as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of shipyard resources, ensuring efficient use and allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on resource utilization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on resource allocation, utilization, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations coordination or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs through effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn new software applications quickly.
