Job Overview

As a DevOps engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, implementation, and management of software systems. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, developing automation scripts, and implementing security protocols to protect against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Container Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
  • Deployment Management: Configure and maintain Kubernetes deployments, services, ingresses, and other resources using YAML manifests or GitOps workflows.
  • Microservices Architecture: Design and implement microservices-based architecture, breaking down monolithic applications into smaller, more manageable components.
  • SDLC and CI/CD: Understand Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Configuration Management: Leverage Ansible for configuration management, automating tasks and reducing manual errors.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, defining and managing infrastructure through code.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and version control systems, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members.
Secondary Skills:
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Experience with building and maintaining Dev, Staging, and Production environments using CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Agile and DevOps Methodologies: Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, including incident management and root cause analysis.
