Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate repetitive IT tasks by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and software deployment.
  • Manage system configurations and deployments using Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of automated solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, infrastructure, and deployments.
  • Perform infrastructure automation assessments, implementations, and provide solutions to increase efficiency, repeatability, and consistency.
  • Facilitate continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in a DevOps environment.
  • Coordinate multiple automated tasks across systems through orchestration.
  • Develop and maintain clear, reusable, and version-controlled playbooks and scripts.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform automation for AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
  • Continuously improve automation workflows and practices to enhance speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Maintain compliance with best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements for infrastructure automation.
  • Document and maintain processes, configurations, and changes in the automation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with design review, client requirements sessions, and development teams to deliver features and capabilities supporting automation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled professional who possesses:

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, and modules.
  • Proven experience as an Ansible Engineer or in a similar automation role.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Terraform & CloudFormation for AWS infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with other configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef.
  • Experience with Linux administration, scripting, and CI/CD tools, like GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Nagios.
  • Working experience in Agile environments, such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications

We also prefer candidates with:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Developing with Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Terraform Associate Certification.
Good-to-Have Skills

Candidates with experience in:

  • Kubernetes (EKS) and service mesh architectures.
  • AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures.
  • AWS CDK, Ansible, or Packer for cloud automation.
  • Multi-cloud environments, such as Azure, GCP.
  • Validated systems environments, such as FDA, European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, Ministry of Health, etc.
