Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, DevOps) to build new features and improve existing ones
  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Proficient in either Java or Python as a secondary language
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
  • Proven experience building cloud-hosted, production-grade applications
  • Experience with at least one database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Experience using message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools
