Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Risk Modeler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk models to help our clients manage their exposure to potential losses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk models using RMS and AIR cat models
  • Analyze data quality and make necessary assumptions for modeling
  • Process detailed and aggregate level data in both RMS and AIR cat models
  • Import cat model data from vendor models into DFA platform
  • Model financial terms in DFA platform to provide modeled price for UWs
  • Provide thorough review of modeling results
  • Communicate results and issues with onshore modeling and UW teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Understanding of reinsurance terms and treaty structures
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL
  • Ability to deliver time-bound tasks and handle work pressure
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of RMS and AIR interface and back tables
  • Excellent analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • High speed of execution and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Evidence of working with large data sets and knowledge of Python and R
