Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Risk Consulting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and quantifying catastrophe risk using advanced models and databases.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their exposure and loss analytics requirements and configure analytical solutions to meet their needs.
  • As a Risk Consulting Specialist, you will be expected to deliver high-quality analysis and insights to enable business decisions at the client-end.
  • Additionally, you will assess the quality of input data, highlight potential improvements, and generate relevant insights from modeled results.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in mentoring and training new risk analysts is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quantify catastrophe risk using advanced models and databases.
  • Configure analytical solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality analysis and insights to enable business decisions.
  • Assess the quality of input data and highlight potential improvements.
  • Generate relevant insights from modeled results.

Requirements:

  • MBA in Finance, Insurance, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in risk business data analytics for P C insurance reinsurance or insurance linked securities.
  • Hands-on experience with catastrophe risk models.
  • Prior project team management experience desirable.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Knowledge of Python and R languages desirable.
