Senior Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the development of cutting-edge GPU computers that can handle complex deep learning, high-performance computing, and computationally intensive workloads.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic direction in designing and implementing GPU computers for demanding applications
  2. Identify architectural enhancements and/or new approaches for accelerating deep learning models
  3. Collaborate with teams to drive end-to-end workflow from data curation to deployment, focusing on compute, networking, and storage design for large-scale workloads
  4. Benchmark and optimize Computer Vision Algorithms and Hardware Accelerators, ensuring optimal performance
  5. Convert business requirements into product goals covering workload scenarios and compute infrastructure, providing actionable insights

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in deploying complex deep learning architectures, including experience with Machine Learning frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, including Deep Neural Networks and DNN training frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms, with C/C++ programming skills
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorRT, CuDNN, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenACC, Docker, Singularity, Shifter, Charliecloud, Python, bash scripting, Windows, Ubuntu, CentOS

Desirable Skillset:

  • Machine Learning (Deep Neural Networks)
  • DNN training frameworks (Caffe, TensorFlow, Torch)
  • Numerical analysis, Performance analysis, Model compression and Optimization
  • Computer architecture
  • Data structures and Algorithms
  • GPU computing (CUDA, OpenCL, OpenACC)
  • HPC (MPI, OpenMP)
  • Container technologies (Docker, Singularity, Shifter, Charliecloud)
