Job Title: Chief Information Technology Officer

The Chief Information Technology Officer is a strategic role responsible for defining and implementing industry-leading information systems based on best practices.

  • Maintains alignment between information technology initiatives and business objectives.
  • Selects, acquires, develops, installs, maintains, and supports technology resources to optimize organizational efficiency.

This position manages a team of professionals to foster positive working relationships within the organization. It oversees the integration and/or interfaces of information systems with external parties to ensure seamless data exchange.

The Chief Information Technology Officer provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of information systems and technology to facilitate communication among staff, management, vendors, and other stakeholders.

  • Develops and implements comprehensive training programs in collaboration with the Learning & Development department.
  • Leverages leadership skills to manage day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Services as a functional unit.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the security, integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of information within the organization's information systems.

  • Develops and maintains an incident response plan to minimize disruptions.
  • Serves as a key liaison to communicate IT plans throughout the organization.
  • Provides expert advice concerning information system and/or technology resource matters.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or higher education and at least 10 years of experience in information technology operations. Relevant skills include understanding ISO9001 standards and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
