Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Chief Information Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance on all aspects of information security, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and cybersecurity frameworks. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective information security strategies to protect against cyber threats
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Manage and maintain secure network architecture and configurations
- Provide expert technical guidance on incident response and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices into business operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT security, network engineering, or system administration with a strong focus on security
- Proven experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Familiarity with analyzing logs from various sources (e.g., network devices, servers, applications) for security incident detection
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development is highly desirable

Security Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Solid knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), System Administration, common threats, and vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
Eligibility Criteria:
- Multi-lingual proficiency, Good English speaking along with strong local language proficiency for each Location
- Desired certifications such as CCNA Security, CEH, and CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage (but not compulsory)
