Business Development Specialist

- Conduct business valuations for various accounting standards, including ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718/409A, ASC 820 and ASC 805, real estate, complex securities, and embedded derivatives.
- Analyze historical financial and operating results to identify trends and risks.
- Challenge assumptions related to future financial projections.
- Develop discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.) and perform financial statement analysis.
- Conduct market research and develop industry growth estimates.
- Construct and review valuation and other financial models.
- Presentation of analyses and conclusions to internal management, clients, and fiduciaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree and/or certifications preferable.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value assessments, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments.
- Understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies.
- Experience with traditional valuation methods and financial databases.
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
