Quality Control Manager Job Description

About the Role:

As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality control functions, including testing raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all laboratory operations are performed in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage API testing related activities to ensure consistent quality manufactured at our facility.
  • Ensure all laboratory operations are performed in compliance with GLP, GMP, and internal quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence to batch release timelines through effective planning and resource allocation.
  • Lead Quality Management System (QMS) related activities, including deviation management, out-of-specification investigations, change controls, and CAPA implementation.
  • Supervise stability studies for APIs in compliance with ICH guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality control management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of GLP, GMP, and internal quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
