Sex Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sex Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals overcome challenges related to their sexual and psychological health.

The ideal candidate is passionate about this field and has excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients. You will be responsible for conducting initial discovery calls, pitching our treatment packages, and eventually transitioning into a hands-on therapy role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Discovery Calls & Client Engagement (80% Sales-Focused):
  • Conduct initial discovery calls with potential clients seeking help for psychological and sexual health issues.
  • Establish rapport and build trust during calls, guiding clients to understand the support they need.
  • Pitch appropriate treatment packages and treatment plans, demonstrating how they align with the client's goals.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits and outcomes of various treatment plans, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Closing sales and onboarding clients into the treatment process.
Therapeutic Support (20% Therapy-Focused):
  • Offer brief therapeutic support and guidance during the initial call, ensuring clients feel heard and validated.
  • Offer insights and recommendations based on the client's needs, while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Provide referrals or resources for clients not immediately ready to proceed with treatment.
Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with our team of therapists, ensuring a seamless transition from discovery calls to ongoing treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups, and client progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Assist in continuously improving the discovery call process and treatment offerings by providing feedback on client interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Sex Therapy, or a related field.
  • Certification or licensure in sex therapy or a related field (depending on location requirements).
  • Prior experience in conducting sales calls, consultations, or intake assessments is highly preferred.
