Hotel Night Auditor/Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Operations Specialist to oversee overnight front desk and accounting tasks, ensuring seamless guest experiences and accurate financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests with a warm smile, handling reservations, and arranging for amenities is key to delivering exceptional service.
  • Posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts, balancing cash drawers, and processing credit card transactions require strong analytical skills.
  • Tracking key financial metrics, preparing end-of-day reports, and ensuring the security of guest valuables demand attention to detail.
  • Auditing and reconciling hotel daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments necessitate a thorough understanding of financial management principles.
  • Responding to guest inquiries, providing pre-arrival support, and staying up-to-date on hotel operations requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at a managerial level with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Basic math and accounting skills, proficiency in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software are essential for performing day-to-day tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field provides a solid foundation for a career in hospitality.
