**Job Title:** AI/ML Software Engineer

As a highly motivated and skilled software engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend software solutions using Python, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications. Your expertise in developing high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, as well as your ability to build responsive frontend user interfaces using React to visualize and interact with complex AI models and data, will be invaluable to our team.

The successful candidate will have experience in utilizing the Azure cloud platform (or similar) for application development and deployment, demonstrating a willingness to explore and master new cloud and AI/ML specific cloud services. You will also have the opportunity to architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, to enhance model capabilities and provide context-aware responses.

Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI Researchers and Data Scientists, to translate cutting-edge research into impactful, deployable solutions. Your proactive approach to staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape, combined with your ability to bring new ideas and approaches to the team, will make you an excellent fit for this role.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement robust backend software solutions primarily using Python, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, often serving AI-powered features.
• Build responsive and intuitive frontend user interfaces using React to visualize and interact with complex AI models and data.
• Utilize the Azure cloud platform (or similar) for application development and deployment, demonstrating a willingness to explore and master new cloud and AI/ML specific cloud services.
• Architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, to enhance model capabilities and provide context-aware responses.
• Work with and integrate various Large Language Models (LLMs), exploring fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimal model selection.
• Develop and orchestrate Agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or like enable autonomous and multi-step reasoning.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including AI Researchers and Data Scientists, to translate cutting-edge research into impactful, deployable solutions.
• Proactively stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
• Actively contribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement in AI-driven development.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Intellectual Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity and a strong drive for continuous learning and self-improvement, particularly in the AI/ML domain.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to tackle complex challenges independently, especially in areas like AI model integration and optimization.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in developing AI/ML applications.
• Frontend Development: Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
• Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform (or similar) services, ideally including AI/ML services.
• API Development: In-depth knowledge of API development, preferably with FastAPI.
• Generative AI: Demonstrated experience or strong theoretical understanding of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, and their applications.
• Agentic AI: Experience with or keen interest in Agentic AI and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration tools.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and knowledge sharing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both independently, taking ownership of tasks, and as an integral part of a collaborative team.
• Initiative: Participation in Hackathons/Coding competitions, especially those focused on AI/ML, is a significant plus, demonstrating initiative and practical problem-solving.
• Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies, including those specific to AI/ML model evaluation.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• DevOps and Cloud-Native Development: Knowledge of DevOps and cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes), particularly in the context of deploying AI/ML models, is a strong plus.
