Job Title:

Achieve Success as AI/ML Technical Delivery Manager

Overview: We seek a visionary leader to helm our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) team, steering technical strategy and decision-making. This high-profile role demands day-to-day delivery management, overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient ML models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for the AI team, aligning with company objectives.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers, MLOps engineers, and machine learning engineers to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Contribute to AI/ML architecture design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, infrastructure, and data science teams to translate needs into production-grade AI and ML models.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for leaders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
  • Guide AI/ML engineers on business objectives, connecting dots and helping the team create optimal ML models.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring process adherence, scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Assume engagement coordinator role between India and US teams.
  • Highlight risks and concerns to the leadership team and work with stakeholders to establish alignment, contingency, and/or mitigation plans.
  • Track delivery statuses and project progress, taking ownership of all deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with AI and ML trends, identifying opportunities for new models and technologies.
  • Propose and implement best engineering and research practices for scaling ML-powered features, enabling fast iteration and efficient experimentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 12-15 years of total experience, with at least 2 years leading/managing AI/ML projects.
  • Strong understanding of US health insurance and at least 3+ years of experience in the same.
  • Experience with the entire MLOps pipeline, from data ingestion to production.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts & algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • Proven ability to take successful ideas from experimentation to production.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or any public cloud platform.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating, and inspiring teams to foster collaboration.
  • Proficient in identifying, assessing, and calling out risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and learning from past projects.
  • Ability to analyze external and internal processes and create strategies for service delivery optimization.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, understanding their needs and managing expectations.
