**Senior Fund Accountant Job Overview**

A Senior Fund Accountant is a seasoned accounting professional responsible for overseeing the financial management of investment funds.

  • This role involves reconciling fund cash, positions, and securities with third-party data sources to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • The Senior Fund Accountant will also perform general ledger processing, post accounting entries, and calculate fund Net Asset Values (NAVs) including incentive and management fee allocations.
  • Additionally, this role requires analyzing fund performance on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as preparing year-end financial statements for audit and regulatory requirements.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fund accounting or financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with various investment products: equities, fixed income, futures, and derivatives.
  • Familiarity with Stand-Alone, Master-Feeder, and Fund of Fund structures.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
