Senior Financial Planning Analyst

A highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst is required to lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for a global marketing organization.

About the Role:

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and execution for the global marketing organization.

You will analyze campaign spend, conduct variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to senior marketing leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial planning, analysis, and execution for the global marketing organization
  • Analyze campaign spend, conduct variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights
  • Partner with senior marketing leaders to optimize investments and drive cost efficiencies
  • Present financial performance and trends to stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy in tools like Allocadia and Ariba
  • Drive process improvements and automation across marketing finance workflows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally in a marketing finance function
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Hands-on experience with Allocadia, Ariba, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong communication skills – ability to simplify complex data for non-financial audiences
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, MBA, M.Com preferred)
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Indian GAAP and local financial regulations
