Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the design and execution of Variable Speed Drive System (VSDS) projects at GE Vernova. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and execute VSDS-based projects from concept to commissioning
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance
+ Provide technical expertise on electrical systems, including MV motors, transformers, cables, MV drives, and switchgears
+ Conduct system studies using ETAP and Matlab, and perform equipment sizing
+ Support business verticals in creating and reviewing system solutions, ensuring they are technically fit for purpose and risk-managed

Requirements

+ Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution
+ Minimum 15 years of experience in project engineering/commissioning for VSDS-based projects in industry/marine/oil & gas/power domains
+ Knowledge and application of international standards
+ Ability to adapt and multitask with project/application engineers
+ Analytical and innovative approach to problem-solving
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications
