Business Analyst - Data Analytics

At a leading organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team as part of the data analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into actionable insights.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work closely with the capabilities team to gather source systems, data sets, and tables needed to fulfill business needs.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, creating detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents (FD).
  • Perform comprehensive Functional Unit Testing of the solution, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Support Business teams in completing User Acceptance Testing, facilitating effective communication between business and IT.
  • Facilitate the deployment of technical solutions to production, driving continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee data quality, consistency, and performance within the new Snowflake environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, supplemented by relevant experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Proven track record in working on Analytics-related projects, with 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Sound understanding of Supply Chain business processes, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA, alongside expertise in data modeling concepts and identifying relationships between data sets.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and BI reporting tools, accompanied by strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, along with knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
