Coastal Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in breakwater design, construction, and management to contribute to the development of key coastal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Breakwater System Design & Construction: Lead the planning, design, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: Apply knowledge of hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project's smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the region or on port development projects.
