About the Role: We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with strong expertise in architecting, implementing, and managing enterprise-level cloud solutions. The role requires hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud migration, automation, and security.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end AWS cloud architectures ensuring scalability, security, and availability.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, and execution for on-premise to AWS workloads.
  • Define and implement cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and best practices.
  • Architect and manage AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards; perform regular security and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and third-party tools to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation of architectures and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent advanced AWS certification).
  • Strong expertise in cloud security, networking, storage, and database management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of containerisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Knowledge of FinOps for cloud cost optimisation.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads on AWS.
