Job Title: Research and Development Engineer

This role involves leveraging technical expertise to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products.

  • Conduct gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical queries, facilitating timely project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, drive technical reviews, and achieve project goals.
  • Prepare 2D/3D drawings/models for assemblies and components, adhering to ASME standards and GD&T guidelines.
  • Conduct tolerance stackup studies, dimensional variation analysis, and model updates using Creo-CETol or other tools.
  • Manage CAD data and change orders using Windchill/Agile PDM.
  • Participate in ideation activities to assess project scoping and viability through economic analysis, conflict analysis, and supplier quote validation.
  • Develop effective solutions, applying project management skills to plan, schedule, and monitor project activities efficiently.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, supplemented by relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Creo and Solid Works, with hands-on experience in PLM/PDM preferably Windchill.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills for global team collaboration.
  • Well-versed in MS Powerpoint and Excel for reports preparation, data analysis, and advanced operations.
  • Experience in creating production drawings using GD&T.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Medical Device Experience.
  • Knowledge of electronics, cable, connectors, PCBA manufacturing methods.
  • Should costing and quote validation experience in materials like metals, packaging, and plastic.
