Seeking a seasoned quality assurance expert to lead our testing efforts. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining automation frameworks, performing manual and automated testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Utilize Selenium WebDriver and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) to build scalable automation frameworks.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Perform thorough testing of products across web, API, and integration layers.
  • Test Planning and Design: Create clear business-oriented scenarios and maintain reusable step definitions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
Required Skills & ExpertiseCore QA Automation Skills
  • Selenium WebDriver: Deep knowledge of WebDriver APIs, custom waits, element handling, synchronization issues, stale elements, and workarounds.
  • BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin): Writing business-readable feature files and mapping steps correctly for reusability and modularity.
  • Java: Strong OOP concepts, clean code practices with SOLID principles, exception handling, and custom exception creation.
Framework & Layer-Specific Skills
  • Page Object Model (POM): Strong understanding of POM & Page Factory, writing maintainable locators and encapsulating UI interactions.
  • Core Framework: Building wrapper methods around Selenium APIs, implementing custom waits, retry mechanisms, and driver utilities.
Additional Skills
  • Manual Testing: Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • API Testing: Experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
  • Test Planning and Management: Strong understanding of test planning, test design, and defect management.
  • CICD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in automation testing.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
