Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Circuit Designer and Project Lead to join our team at Micron Technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to design and analyze digital circuits used in the development of memory products, as well as lead projects and teams.

About the Role

As a Memory Circuit Designer and Project Lead, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital circuits used in the development of memory products. This includes simulating, optimizing, and floor planning NAND circuits. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Teams, Functional Teams, and other departments such as Product Engineering, Device, System, Test, Probe, Process Integration, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of new memory products by assisting with algorithm design and firmware development for internal NAND operations, overall logic design, and optimization of memory circuits.
  • Meet performance/area/power targets.
  • Interpret device and system specifications to produce required functionality.
  • Participate in new circuit conception and design as needed.
  • Define and create design architecture spec documents for new features.
  • Assist in design and development of schematics and/or RTL blocks.
  • Manage and develop projects and teams.
  • Plan and organize projects and resource requirements, including planning, scheduling activities and tasks, and management of designers wrt all new requests.
  • Serve as main point of contact for communication for algorithm design and development for NAND product.
  • Track progress, monitor when items are completed and what still needs to be done.
  • Prepare project status reports for upper management.
  • Plan and hold code reviews to discuss progress and decisions made about project.
  • Mentor new hires and supervise progress.
  • Create training programs for ramping up of team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital circuit design and verification.
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL/Verilog and digital circuit simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
