Construction Site Manager Job Description

This role is focused on leading and managing the successful completion of construction projects. Key objectives include defining project goals, overseeing installation activities, supervising equipment installation, monitoring job site progress, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define project objectives and manage installation projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise equipment installation, monitor job site progress, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain open communication.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve project success.
  • Ensure project delivery on time and within budget by closely monitoring teams and subcontractors.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to mitigate risks associated with safety, ethics, and quality.
  • Train and supervise subcontractors to ensure they meet safety, quality, and operations standards, delivering exceptional service to customers.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the elevator and building trades.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
  • Self-reliance, strong computer and organizational skills, and business acumen are essential for success in this role.
