Job Title: Cloud Cost & Performance Optimization Solution Architect (AWS)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead cloud cost optimization assessments by analyzing client cloud usage, billing data, and workloads.
  • Design and implement cost-effective cloud architectures and resource right-sizing strategies on AWS.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions leveraging cloud-native services.
  • Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and governance frameworks to continuously track cloud spend and performance.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and finance teams to align cloud optimization strategies with business goals.
  • Advise on reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances, and other cost-saving mechanisms.
  • Implement multi-cloud cost and performance management strategies for hybrid environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and best practices for migration, modernization, and cloud-native transformations.
  • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud pricing models, cost management tools AWS Cost Explorer and budgeting.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud performance tuning, scalability, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Application Insights, etc).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud financial management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
