Redis and Gemfire Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team as a Redis/Gemfire expert.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about designing and implementing high-performance data storage systems using Redis and Gemfire.

  • Design and Implement Data Partitioning, Caching Strategies, and Data Models: Utilize Redis and Gemfire effectively to enhance system performance and response times.
  • Develop Architectural Documentation: Create high-level and low-level diagrams, design patterns, and technical specifications to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Implement High Availability and Fault Tolerance: Use Redis clustering, replication, and sharding strategies to guarantee data redundancy and optimal performance.
  • Optimize Cache Efficiency: Design and implement cache eviction policies, expiration times, and data synchronization mechanisms to maintain a up-to-date and efficient cache.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to implement robust connection pooling, error handling, and optimized communication with Redis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science: A strong educational background in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
  • Extensive Hands-on Experience: In-depth knowledge of Redis, including clustering, replication, sharding, and cache design.
  • Strong Understanding of Distributed Systems: A solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts is essential.
  • Proficiency in Designing for Scalability: The ability to design scalable solutions that meet the demands of modern applications.
  • Proficiency in Gemfire Caching Technology: Hands-on experience with Gemfire caching technology is necessary.
  • Hands-on Experience with Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
