We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data management systems utilizing Redis and Gemfire technologies.

  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Redis, including clustering, replication, sharding, and cache design. A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts is also essential.
  • A deep proficiency in designing for scalability, availability, and performance optimization is required. Additionally, hands-on experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is highly valued.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement robust connection pooling, error handling, and optimized communication with Redis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data partitioning, caching strategies, and data models that leverage Redis and Gemfire to enhance system performance and response times.
  • Develop high-level and low-level architectural documentation, including diagrams, design patterns, and technical specifications.
  • Implement Redis clustering, replication, and sharding strategies for high availability, data redundancy, and fault tolerance.
  • Design and implement cache eviction policies, expiration times, and data synchronization mechanisms to ensure the cache remains efficient and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data Solutions and distributed systems concepts.
  • Proficiency in Gemfire caching technology and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
