Site Supervisor Job Opportunity

This is a high-level management role that oversees and manages the team's adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.


Main Responsibilities:
  • The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the team follows all safety rules and regulations, including maintaining shift log books, thermo couple log books, and safety documents.
  • They plan and execute daily cast house runner management jobs, promoting efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Thermo couple trends and behaviors are analyzed to improve reliability and performance of runners.
  • A clean and organized work environment is maintained, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Safety and maintenance-related documents and reports are updated and maintained according to standard operating procedures.
  • Major and minor repair planning is coordinated to ensure optimal performance and monitor campaign life targets.
  • Knowledge and best practices are shared with fellow supervisors and worksites, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Resource allocation (manpower, machinery, materials) is optimized to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Contract workmen are trained regularly to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Strong relationships are developed with customer site teams to enhance Calderys' brand image.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential qualifications include a diploma or B.Tech in Ceramic, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering, as well as any degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of casting processes and equipment is also required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
