Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, planning, protecting and implementing databases across various platforms.

You will work closely with senior developers to ensure the optimal performance and security of our database systems. Your primary focus will be on managing locking, process blocking, and performance tuning of databases, as well as creating and maintaining high availability and disaster-recovery-friendly architectures.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be involved in managing, optimizing, testing, and verifying backup and restoration processes. This will include creating and maintaining monitoring and metrics tooling and dashboards to provide both high-level and granular insight into database performance and operation.

A critical aspect of this role is proactively managing infrastructure to prevent potential future issues and mitigating damage from future incidents. You will also be responsible for handling support tickets when necessary and backing up your peers.

Your expertise in developing and deploying new database objects and changes to existing database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, etc., will be crucial in supporting application development. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain complex relational database reports using SSRS.
