Job Title: SQL Database Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Bangalore/Hyderabad. As a key member of our IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain complex corporate databases with 5 years of previous experience.
  • Support failover clustering, SAN replication, database replication, and high-availability technologies.
  • Develop and implement performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal database performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business critical applications and servers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator.
  • Experience with database administration tools such as Redgate SQL Monitor and SQL Backup.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry and data/DevOps practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
