Contractual Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contractual Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and company-specific compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess commercial contracts for compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual risks across projects and supply chain functions.
  • Ensure all executed contracts are aligned with applicable industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Monitor vendor and third-party compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with legal, procurement, and business units to manage contract-related queries.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance protocols.
  • Draft and implement contract compliance guidelines, SOPs, and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits related to contracts and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain a centralized repository for contracts and compliance tracking.
  • Stay up to date on industry-specific regulations and provide impact analysis on operations.
  • Report compliance deviations or risks to senior management and suggest corrective actions.

Required Skillsets:

  • Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, compliance laws, and regulatory standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract lifecycle management in petrochemical/plastics/rubber industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as BIS, REACH, OSHA, and environmental laws (if applicable).
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual terms.
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, contract management software, and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance Management, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in contractual compliance within petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industries.
  • Certification in Contract Management or Compliance (preferred).
