Job Overview:

This role involves reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, and supporting legal matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to safeguard the company's interests and maintain standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review & Drafting:
    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including agreements with suppliers, vendors, clients, services, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
    • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and applicable laws.
    • Assist in developing standard contract templates and processes.
    • Advise business teams on day-to-day issues and concerns related to client agreements.
  • Compliance Support:
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements across various jurisdictions.
    • Assist in conducting internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
    • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials.
    • Advise on corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Legal Research & Advisory:
    • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
    • Assist senior legal counsel and the legal team in preparing opinions and reports.
  • General Legal Support:
    • Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meeting minutes and regulatory filings.
    • Support the legal team with dispute resolution, litigation, and other legal matters as required.
    • Handle general legal administrative tasks, including maintaining databases and records.
