This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Energy Lawyer to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Lawyer to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities in the Power Generation industry. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures, with experience in handling legal matters in the Power Generation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities in the Power Generation industry.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements such as EPC, O&M and PPA.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Manage legal risks and ensure that the operations are in compliance with law.
• Support corporate decision-making to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Prepare legal reports and documents related to company projects.
• Participate in strategic planning and execution in legal matters.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Experience in handling legal matters in the Power Generation industry.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
