Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our software releases in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in web services and server-side technologies, with a proven track record of analyzing business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role is responsible for managing execution against project plans and delivery commitments, working closely with product managers, partners' teams, and engineers to ensure quality and encourage innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project development and planning, including realistic project estimates and metrics.
  • Ensure timely release deliveries meeting defined criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product owners and application specialists to prioritize the product backlog.
  • Monitor team progress toward milestones/sprints using key performance metrics.
  • Provide high-level and detailed project status and health.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project questions.
  • Promote release management best practices within Agile delivery teams.
  • Foster cross-functional team activities and deliverables.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of program management experience in software releases in an agile environment with technical leadership.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with a thorough understanding of software product development.
  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership position managing a team of 10-15.
  • Strong application development experience with Java, JavaScript, Node.Js, Python, .NET, or other relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI, NLP, ML, Chat bots is an added advantage.
  • Experience in WebServices using REST, SOAP.
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Strong leadership competencies, including strategic thinking, result-driven, building high-performance culture, and inspiring others.
  • Experience running projects using Agile principles with industry standard tools and best practices.
  • Ability to interface between technical and non-technical audiences and present to executive management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and risk management abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing company processes and growth.
  • More than 3 years of experience as a technical lead.
  • Good hands-on experience in Java/Javascript programming.
  • Exposure/experience at Architect level.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate in Engineering OR Masters in Computer Applications.
