Job Title: Structural BIM Coordinator

Our company seeks an experienced BIM Professional to coordinate and manage the creation of detailed building information models for our structural projects.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other industry-standard software. They will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing 3D models, as well as conducting quality control checks on these models.

  • Assist project teams in adhering to the Building Information Modelling (BIM) Implementation Plan.
  • Deliver client BIM requirements for architectural and structural services.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on Autodesk Revit models.
  • Prepare drawing packages and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Develop technical capabilities in BIM Levels of Development (LOD) 300, 400, and 500.
  • Coordinate and develop designs from conception to construction through BIM processes.
  • Manage 3D models, review their quality, and check their technical content.
  • Analyze models provided by architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to identify coordination and constructability issues.
  • Knowledge of parametric and non-parametric family creation.
  • Experience in Scan-to-BIM and PDF-to-CAD projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
  • Excellent understanding of BIM implementation plans, LODs, and construction processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and organization skills.
