Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of large-scale events, managing logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team supervision.
  • Lead a dedicated operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections, assess venue suitability, and ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization for enhanced profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and guarantee seamless event delivery.
  • Present regular operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
