Surat Manufacturing Planning Engineer Job Opportunity

Planning Engineer Role:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Surat. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning of pre-assembly materials and ensuring timely availability of parts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors to plan and receive required materials on time for assembly and spare orders.
- Select outside vendors for sending materials for machining and collaborate with them to resolve any issues related to machining and visit them if necessary.
- Review drawings, including machine drawings and VMC drawings, before machining.
- Implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare reports every month about new practices implemented and their advantages.
- Report daily production plans and actual work executed for each machine to be manufactured.
- Maintain proper documentation, checklists, and pictures of manufactured machines.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of process improvement principles.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to take accountability.
