Job Title: IT Support Operations Coordinator

 

The IT Support Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency of IT services by effectively triaging and dispatching support requests. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical acumen, and excellent communication abilities to drive seamless collaboration among teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and Dispatch: Evaluate and assign incident priority, align incidents with established standards, and assign them to the appropriate team for prompt resolution.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate IT support teams to maximize the utilization of billable resources, schedule remote and onsite technical resources, and escalate service requests that cannot be resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Ticket Lifecycle Management: Assist in managing ticket lifecycle, record all work as service tickets in a centralized system, and prevent stagnation to ensure timely completion.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Review completed tickets to verify adherence to quality standards and report IT support resource utilization and successful request completions to the relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Understanding of IT service management principles, experience with ticketing systems, and familiarity with IT support terminology.
  • Technical and Soft Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems, technical awareness, adaptability, multitasking, active listening skills, time management skills, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
