Senior Social Media Specialist

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Social Media Specialist to lead our digital marketing strategy. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in content creation, social media management, and digital engagement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Conceive and create engaging content – carousels, reels, videos, and more
  • Write accurate, compelling, and contextually relevant captions, headlines, and post descriptions for a variety of content types
  • Collaborate with editorial, production, and internal teams to develop story ideas and produce engaging stories for distribution across platforms
  • Optimize video content for maximum engagement
  • Manage content calendars and production schedules to ensure regular uploads and timely engagement

Requirements:
  • Media/news background (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and platform-specific best practices
  • Minimum 4 – 6 years of experience
  • Keen news sense and strong journalistic instincts
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and industry developments
  • Strong aesthetic sensibilities and attention to detail
  • Basic video editing skills and graphic design expertise
  • Ability to manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
