Operational Excellence Specialist

About the Role:

As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping Trust and Safety operations that uphold quality and consistency. You will maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workflows ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with current practices.

  • Maintain and enhance SOPs to ensure clarity and relevance for internal and vendor teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on key policy areas and support emergency escalations as needed.
  • Lead documentation reviews and updates to keep operational materials clear and accessible.
  • Support policy rollout initiatives by drafting training content and helping onboard stakeholders to new processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to troubleshoot operational issues and implement scalable solutions.

You will work closely with various teams to identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce errors, and improve the user experience. This includes leveraging dashboards and reporting tools to monitor case volumes, analyze operational trends, and surface key insights to leadership.

Our ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in Trust and Safety, Policy Operations, Risk Operations, or a similar process-focused role. They have strong documentation skills and experience developing and managing SOPs or training materials.

The successful candidate will be able to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accountability. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and operational platforms like Jira, Zendesk, or Salesforce is essential.

A proactive, ownership-driven attitude and ability to thrive in ambiguity and change are must-haves. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are also required.
