Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to design and prepare working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering designs within budgeted hours and productivity norms, while ensuring compliance with contract documents and coordination with other services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Preparation: Prepare accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts.
  • Technical Support: Resolve technical issues with site teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals.
  • Productivity Monitoring: Monitor productivity and assist in QA/QC processes.
  • Additional Work Identification: Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • HVAC Knowledge: Strong HVAC design knowledge (chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, smoke control).
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP).
  • Knowledge of MEP Systems: Understanding of related MEP systems.
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Training Certification: HVAC training certification preferred.
